Wednesday Webinar

Life-Threatening Eye Signs & Symptoms That Can't Be Missed!

When Flashes of Light Are Something Other Than Vitreoretinal Phenomena

Many signs and symptoms of life-threatening conditions, such as corneal fascinations for metabolic, inflammatory, or even infectious etiologies, regularly present behind the slit lamp. But other life-threatening eye symptoms and signs may present as something seemingly benign, like flashing lights. How can you tell when a patient's symptoms of photopsia are something completely unrelated to vitreoretinal phenomena?

Join us for our next Wednesday Webinar: Life-Threatening Eye Signs & Symptoms That Can't Be Missed! as Dr. Joseph Shovlin examines the differences in presentation and cite several case examples of photopsia not related to vitreoretinal conditions.

When:

Wednesday, May 17 at 6:00 pm

Where:

Zoom

Course Description:

This course will examine the differences in presentation and cite several case examples of photopsia not related to vitreoretinal conditions, such as giant cell arteritis, artery occlusion, patent foramen ovale, neoplastic lesions, Purtscher-like retinopathy, and cerebral aneurysm.
